My students and I are entering into a new S.T.E.A.M Magnet program where one of our key focuses is Technology. We need Chromebooks and mouse devices. Without Chromebooks, we are very limited on our ability to access the world at our fingertips. I am excited to teach my students how to complete online research projects, type papers or essays, about internet safety and guide them in planning for their bright futures. Many of them do not have access to current Technology at home, so I would love to offer endless amounts in our classroom.
Chromebooks will enhance our new English Language Arts program by connecting with their online resources. There are videos, writing tips, as well as stories that students can highlight key details and add notes to. Students have accounts for RAZ kids, Readtheory.org and ST Math, these Chromebooks will allow them to access these resources more frequently.
