Within my substantially separate classroom, materials such as Velcro and tape are used to assemble interactive books for my moderately disabled Special Needs students. Creating adaptable books allows my students to access grade level content in a way that is appropriate, engaging, and fun!
Also, batteries are used for communication output devices necessary for my nonverbal students' academic and social learning. As my students continue to learn within the classroom, communication devices are necessary for a safe and successful learning environment! Numbers, shapes, and colors are learned using communication devices. All of these resources are essential to my students' learning!
