I teach a wonderful group of students with 2 amazing para-pros. Our students have a multitude of abilities and disabilities, such as: Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Intellectually Disabled, other health and cognitive impairments. We have become a large community with our students and their families, helping them to grow, learn, and to be successful everyday. Some days are tougher than others, but the struggle to make it through victoriously outweighs the obstacles for these students. Watching them become the amazing teenagers that they are, and growing up to be contributing members of society makes my job worth every waking moment.
