Students need a way to keep it all together. They will use composition notebooks and tape to make foldable study guides, to create organizers and reviewable material for testing and projects.
Over the years, I have developed reading guides, note-taking procedures, graphic organizers, illustrations, and collaborative activities that the students are able to put all in the same place.
By the end of the year, students leave with lessons and aids at their fingertips as well as personal memories and strategies useful in finishing high school and college. Their notebooks are organized; therefore, their thoughts are organized as well.
Thank you.
