My fifth graders are eager learners and growing each day. Unfortunately, the desks we have available to us are small, wobbly, and uncomfortable. We do a lot of group projects, tables naturally promote collaboration.
We spend our time together reading and discussing engaging novels, and working together in groups for our project based learning tasks.
Round tables, that can seat four to five, will allow my students to not only comfortably sit at a seat, but they will also encourage students to look at each other and have meaningful conversations in which they are truly collaborating and communicating with each other.
