Our 9th graders are fascinated by these topics - but need more books! This order will allow us to set up book clubs for the first time this year- a structure that will allow them to read, discuss and debate with each other in small groups organized by interest. By supporting this project, my kids will be able to analyze the deeper commentary hidden in Dystopia, the past reflected through Historical Fiction, the truth exposed via Memoir, and the important ideas revealed in Graphic Novels. Thanks for validating the passions of our kids and helping them to become deeper and more independent thinkers.
