When my students are ready to learn, I want them to be as excited about learning as I am about teaching. Let me tell you, that is pretty excited! Often times, this is not at an ordinary seat or desk. Being in a position where students are able to move, think and collaborate outside of the confines of a traditional seat, gets students fully engaged. While this can be thought of as just seating arrangements, it goes beyond that of just seats! Having standing desks, different tables, and other flexible options create an exciting environment for students to learn! Students need to move and think in order to maximize their potential! In my experience, students who are sitting in a desk without the opportunity to move often times miss content or make even louder noises, all because they cannot focus their attention on the lesson. With flexible seating arrangements, students will be able to move and fidget without taking their attention away from the content being taught!
