The use of electronics is a daily happening in my class. An iPad will help students access educational sites and programs. Due to the fine motor needs my students have, they aren't all able to use a traditional computer.
The touchscreen of an iPad allows learners to access everyday curriculum, manipulate, and interact with their learning. An iPad will help students use programs specifically designed for learner's with autism. As well, nonverbal students can use an iPad to communicate their basic needs and interact with their peers.
An iPad can also be used to access all academics and assist students with learning life skills. A great addition to the classroom and for my learners!
