After an abundance of research, discussion, and planning, we will be implementing flexible seating into our classroom. With such a dynamic group of students with unique needs and wants, flexible seating will provide an environment that will facilitate collaboration, motivation, problem solving and independence. My goal is to flexible seating options as follows: sitting (floor) desks, standing desks, stability ball seating, couch/bean bag seating, stadium seating, and some traditional desks. The goal of each school day is to reach as many students as possible. I believe that by showing students that their needs are considered, their mindsets will shift in a positive way. I hope to provide students with an environment that will help them feel excited and ready to learn each day!

About my class
