Reading is sometimes considered a boring daunting subject; I want my students to leave my classroom with a sense of excitement and enjoyment each day. The construction paper, folders, sticky notes, and highlighters will allow the students to have fun while learning the key components of reading. With the items listed above students will also be able to create main idea comic strips, compare cards and inference pictures and story graphs.
Sometimes my students come to class hungry and because of this they are unable to focus. Therefore, I have selected snacks such as rice krispies treats, granola bars and fruit snacks to help them gain some energy. The snack swill also be given as an incentive if students are on task and doing their very best. The awards will be given as an incentive to encourage students. The magazine racks will be used to display various magazines that we will be using throughout the school year. The books will be used in our classroom library. The ink cartridge will help me make copies of worksheets and projects for my students. The calendar will be used so that I can keep track of various events and activities such as parent conferences, field trips and team meetings. The dictionaries will be used to help the students expand their vocabulary and look up the definitions of words that they do not know.
Please help me further these amazing kids' future by donating today.
My dream is to build the future of the world through my classroom, and make these incredible students into incredible successful adults. I truly need your support to make this a reality. Thanks!
