I teach in a Title 1 school in Rockaway Park, Queens, NY. It is an area that is still cleaning up and recovering from Hurricane Sandy. I have a diverse population of students, mostly minority. They are great kids, each with their own individual issues. My classroom is one of learning but we have had many laughs as well. They are great kids and work hard to achieve good grades.
