I am the Art Teacher at A.P. Hill Elementary School.
I teach over 500 students each week. In a day, I teach six classes, seeing a little less than 150 students per day.
Here at my school, I create lessons and unit plans based on interdisciplinary subjects. Many of the times my lessons include math, science, history, and I also incorporate technology whenever I can.
I wish to provide my students with a variety of materials and learning experiences. This is because most of my students have never had the opportunity to work with materials like clay, scratch art, printmaking, or pastels. I'm hoping that having a Donors Choose will help open my student's world to new experiences.
