My AVID students are all interested in attending to college upon graduation from high school. Their knowledge and experience with colleges is extremely limited due to the remote location of our school and the low socioeconomic status of our students. Our College Dream Tour will take us to 4 universities in the 2018/19 school year, giving my students opportunities to see the possibilities that exist beyond our local community. UCSD is the first stop on our Dream Tour. We will tour the campus, participate in a Q&A session with a panel of current UCSD students, and attend an admissions seminar.

About my class
