My students present with various kinds of communication abilities. They use a many different means to communicate such as gestures, sign language, picture supports, written words/ sentences, or communication applications on tablets. Regardless of their means of communication and the constant challenges they face due to the lack thereof, they are constantly trying their best to convey their thoughts, opinions and feelings. They make use of any and every support provided to them to try their best and never give up. Every day with them is an adventure that I do look forward to be a part of.
