As a 6th grade language arts teacher, I know that my biggest struggle is often finding books that interest my students, who are unique and have a variety of interests. My students often tell me, "I hate reading" or "Reading is boring", but I don't buy that.
I believe that every student can find a love for reading if they are handed the right book and this project is designed to give students access to two high interest books (George and Ghost) that students are clamoring to read. The two books will give me a chance to reach every student.
