Every student has diverse learning needs, and as a teacher, I strive to make sure every student feels included and comfortable in the classroom. By allowing students flexible seating options- letting them choose what works best for them, they will be able to focus on their schoolwork and learn as much as possible Giving students options will help them take charge of their own learning, as well as learning that everyone is different and has different needs. I want my students to learn that not everyone is the same, that some work well sitting on a bean bag chair, while others might work better sitting at a traditional desk. For my classroom, I am asking for stools, bean bag chairs, balance balls, wobble cushions, ottomans, saucer chair and a rug to give my students a variety of seating options.
