With the honor of teaching a subject such as World Cultures, the world is quite literally mine and my students' oyster! In my World Cultures classroom, students learn and interact with our big world. From learning about types of governments and economies around the world to discovering what people believe and endure around the world, I constantly strive to open my students' eyes to better understand how our world is beautiful in its cultural diversity. In my classroom, students are encouraged to embrace what makes them different and unique, but to also unite around what we as global citizens all share -- a passion (and right) to learn!
