The organizational items will help to increase time spent learning by reducing paper shuffling and lost items. One book bin will be designated for each student, giving them space to store their materials. The literature organizer is to be used as a class mailbox system. The light covers and rug will help to soften the classroom to create a warm environment. Visual timers, non-electric headphones, and fidgets help to increase focus on learning by meeting sensory needs.
The materials in this project will be utilized to build an environment that is both predictable and inviting. Providing such an environment for my students is crucial to their daily success.
