Our classroom is comfortable and has a flexible structure. My students are on the move all day long. We normally transition from one activity to another about every 10 minutes to keep them engaged. Walking into my classroom, you may see students working on the floor, at their desks, on a computer or with a portable device, or working with me in a small group. Because activity is so important to kids of this age, more choices in seating can improve achievement.
I chose wobble chairs for students who need to move while seated at their desks, and the comfortable floor chairs for students who may choose to work on the floor to learn.
