Our goal is that exposure to authentic and varied reading texts, students will evaluate, critique information, and build text to world connections creating higher levels of knowledge. This will lead students through deeper learning experiences in thought provoking ways.
Students will be able to view the world from different and informed perspectives. The diversity in the reading, will allow higher levels of engagement, thus decreasing behavioral issues in the classroom environment. Student might not be privileged or opportunity to explore the world first hand do to family and economic circumstances. This will allow us to bring the world to them through reading and through these resources.
