Next year, I will be working in a 4-6 grade mod/severe self-contained classroom and am trying to hit the ground running with the supports and tools my students need to be as successful as possible. I would love to be able to set up a Sensory and Discovery Zone for my students. Many of my students need the support of a sensory break and tools to help self-regulate. By using this space my students will be able to have an outlet to calm their bodies, regulate emotions, and work on skills like coordination and balance, turn taking, station rotations. Thanks for all of your support!!
