Many of my students have ADHD diagnosis, in addition to learning disabilities that impact their ability to receive and retain information in the classroom. I am hoping these classroom resources will help the students to concentrate more in the classroom on the interventions and skills being taught, while providing a space for their bodies to settle down for learning.
We need inflatable chairs, balance ball seats and stools for flexible seating, and fidget holders to help them focus during small group and whole group instruction. It is important to me that the whole child is educated and provided the space and opportunity to perform their personal best. With the fidgets, flexible seating, and solid instruction and interventions my students will SOAR! At the start of the school year I want to encourage my students that my classroom is a safe environment for learning!!
