One area my students struggle with is literacy and reading at grade level. The number one way to improve reading skills is to READ. These books will open new worlds to my students. They will not only allow my students to explore far off lands and meet amazing characters, they will also aid in building their reading stamina and ability.
Our classroom library needs to be a place that is accessible to students at every level. We will use these books during Drop Everything And Read, small group, and at home for independent reading practice. These books will help my students discover a love of reading.
