My students will use the requested Apple iPad Pro DAILY as they learn how to take "brain breaks" that work for his or her own learning needs. Students can use the iPad Pro to find what apps, music, or movement best helps them reenergize their minds and keep their attention. The Balance Ball is for this area's flexible seating choice. Students will be able to self-monitor, provide feedback about what strategies work, and become an advocate for their own learning.
Students will be able to access this area after each lesson. These breaks would include movement for the more active students, music for the students who respond through auditory input, or a relaxation break for the students who need quiet time in order to reengage to the classroom.
