I teach third grade in Brighton, MI. I have a library in my classroom, but would like to add more books to it and allow children to take their book home with them. In the past, taking home books has resulted in damaged, tattered books, I would like these bags for safe travel for our books. One of the primary benefits of reading every day is academic excellence. Studies show that students that read daily have better speaking skills, better understanding of grammar, mastery of the fundamentals of language and enhanced concentration and discipline. I hope that providing new books and travel bags will help with these goals.
