7th Grade math students are grappling with baseball player statistics, computation of: area, percent and degrees of a circle in their Fantasy Baseball project. Once they are finished with computing their "spinner cards" the tournament will begin. The tournament includes student generated teams, players and specially chosen team names. On the day of the tournament, students indulge in the sounds and sites of a real baseball game while playing their selected team. Winners advance to the championship round.
