My students love working on hands-on learning and engaging activities. Limited resources sometimes makes groups too large to be beneficial for all. These needed supplies will help build a positive learning environment for all of my students. By funding this project it will enable myself to continue building upon the needed resources to engage and inspire my students in a positive direction. These resources will help to place the required learning into their hands and not just relying on textbooks, pictures, and internet. To have enough materials for smaller groups will also allow each student to benefit more and understand concepts better. They will all be brought to the forefront during all the hands-on activities. When doing experiments there where no test tubes and these are needed for multiple activities. My classroom does not have a triple beam balance and a great majority of my students have never even seen one let alone used one. Same with the digital scale. The card stock is a necessity for the card stock roller coasters that my students know is the 8th grade end of the year project.
