I teach Spanish Literacy and Math in Spanish in a 3rd grade Dual Language Immersion setting. The home languages of these students vary (English, Spanish, both) and so does their socioeconomic status but this wonderful program brings them all together to be language models for each other and teach each other to be bilingual, biliterate, bicultural, and open-minded citizens of the world!
