Our students are hosting a drive for women's hygiene supplies to provide our school and local shelters with these often overlooked, but needed supplies. Due to school closures and job losses caused by COVID-19, many families struggling financially are in need of extra support. To help, many school districts have opened food distribution centers, which provide meals to students who need them. The Pad Project and GLI are also concerned about students lacking access to menstrual supplies. The Pad Project’s mission is to create and cultivate local and global partnerships to end period stigma and to empower women worldwide. To learn more about other ways The Pad Project is supporting U.S. homeless shelters, grassroots NGOs, and school districts.
