I have an enthusiastic group of young learners excited to be starting 2nd grade. I am always amazed by their willingness to embrace whatever the year may have in store. Their curiosity and zest for learning is infectious and I am eager to give them the best of all I have to offer. Our school serves students in grades Pre-K through 12 encompassing a full range of abilities, backgrounds, and development. Several of my students come from trauma backgrounds and I strive to foster a welcoming and inclusive community of leaners whose members are valued and have a voice. I am currently setting up a new classroom with a focus on creating a supportive environment that enables All Students to thrive and stretch the boundaries of their potential. 2nd grade is a year marked by phenomenal growth as students transition from learning foundational skills to applying those skills across settings. It is truly a wonder to behold!
