The current lighting in our classroom is quite bright and harsh and my students often ask me to turn off the lights or at least one set. This can cause it to become too dark at times depending on the amount of light coming in from the outside.
Having softer lighting in my room will help my students to not have to deal with the harshness of our overhead lights but still have light to see as they complete their work. It is also amazing how much calmer our classroom is when the lights are off! My students will be able to learn more because they will not be bothered by the harshness of the current lighting. These lights will be able to be hung from the ceiling and be out of reach of curious hands!
