Students will use iPads daily in the classroom in every subject area. Students will learn basic functions, create digital portfolios, practice skills, use video/photograph functions, and even learn coding! They will use these in small station groups, work with partners on special projects, and complete research. Students having access to technology is essential to their future success and will help close the gap between low income students and their future colleagues. These students will not have these resources at home. In order to be on a level playing ground with their peers, they have to access and learn technology at school. Students in Kindergarten must be exposed to educational technology to build their foundation for math, science, reading, art, design, and research.

About my class
