The books and materials on the list below will be used to begin a collection of books for our classroom library. These books will be housed in our classroom for students to access at will during the school day and/or check out to take home and enjoy. These books will not only benefit this coming years Kindergarteners but also students in my classroom for years to come. Included are a variety of reading levels, subjects, and genres in order to appeal to a wide range of student intertests and skill levels. This will allow my kindergarteners to easily access books they not only have the ability to read but enjoy reading, increasing their confidence to become proficient independent readers!
