My students do not have the art supplies needed for simple, everyday art projects that they deserve to have. My goal as a teacher is to help my students create culturally relevant artwork that they can be personally proud of. I use the elements and principles of design to teach my students the rules of creating art while using Big Ideas to help engage them in consistent learning.
These materials are essentials such as paper, pencils, and brushes. All of which my students do not have in their classroom at the moment. I know that good classroom materials will inspire my students to make beautiful artwork and boost their confidence to work harder in school.
