I teach in a small, rurally located school in Kilgore, Nebraska. The building is 90 years old. Our class sizes are small, but they are super interested in learning. 57% of our students in the district receive free and reduced lunch. This is my first year there teaching third grade. Third graders are full of energy, and work I work very hard to harness that toward learning.
Our materials are getting rather old, if they are not already out of date. I am working hard to get those materials more up to date to match the world that is developing around them, especially in technology.
