My classroom is set up to give the students a sense of family. There are five centers where the students are able to interact in groups of two or four. It is important that each student enjoy his or her surroundings as they learn. My goal is to have flexible seating arrangements where the students have a different experience as they move around the classroom. The rugs are for the math and reading corners. The read along storage will be placed in the listening center. The fishing for sight word game will be a part of the reading corner. The overall purpose is to show the children that learning is fun, rewarding, and requires interaction with others.
