It is said that a child who reads 20 minutes a day will see 1.8 million words a year. My children love to read and need more access to books that are exciting and on their reading level. I want to add 100 new books to my classroom library. The kids get so excited about any new books that come into our room. I want to inspire and further ignite this love for reading with a classroom library that reaches all of my students. The books I have selected range from Fancy Nancy to Adventures with Superman. I have selected a wide range of levels that are fiction and nonfiction. Reading is such a vital skill in a child's life and I want to ensure that all my students develop a love for reading.
