The instant math learning centers will be used to give instruction to my students on some of the core strands of first grade math. In addition, I will use the math activity to provide additional independent practice to the students, so that they gain confidence in the skills. This resources will allow my students the opportunity to practice the skills that are taught in class, enabling them another opportunity to grasp the content. Having these resources will allow me the opportunity increase my small group instruction time to ensure students are obtaining the information. With these resources, my 1st graders will be able to work collaboratively with their classmates to complete learning activities. These resources will also help students further develop their social and emotional skills through taking turns and peer learning. These few resources would play a major role in building the confidence of the students as they prepare for second grade.
