We are in week four of online learning and the most common distraction has been trying to silence the world around my students. I am constantly trying to get their attention while they sit in their homes with so many other family members. I am trying to engage their learning and have them focus on the ideas and learning happening within our virtual classroom. They have done such a good job at trying, but I want to help them be more successful.
The microphones will provide my students access to clearly articulate ideas. The headphones will help with pushing out the sound of the world around them. It will limit the amount of times they say "Ms. Toledo, I can't hear you."
