A classroom library full of diverse literature supports the learning and growth of all students. The books in this project include fiction and nonfiction titles, wordless books, pattern books, rhyming books and poetry, leveled readers, books that support the development of a growth mindset, and even books that can go home with kids for the week to read with their families!
Dr. Seuss said, "The more that you read, the more things you will know; the more that you learn, the more places you'll go!" It is my hope that this year in kindergarten, every student in my classroom develops a passion for reading that will follow them for the rest of their life!
