The sentence building, literacy games, writing paper, post-it, handwriting paper, dry erase markers, and computer ink will assist in scholars becoming independent readers and writers. The items will allow scholars to develop reading fluency, comprehension, and accuracy. The student will interact with the sentence builders, games, literacy activities and writing materials in small group and centers that focus on sentence structures, subject verb agreement in order to increase understanding of the writing conventions as well as reading fluency. These newly acquired skills will allow students to increase their reading fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and knowledge of reading /writing structures. So, in an effort to develop independent readers and writers by the end of the school year for each scholars enrolled in my class. Please help my school achieve the greatest gift life has to offer: READING & WRITING!
