Libraries today aren't just books! My role as a librarian is to help my students to make connections to what they read and to want to know more. Ozobots are mini robots that the student's code to perform tasks. They are appropriate for my students because even non-readers can successfully code them. One of the tasks we will be completing is a retelling of a fairy tale. This helps the students learn to organize information, which helps them with reading comprehension. Using the Ozobots will be fun and engaging while helping the students to learn the 21st-century skills that they will need going forward.
