We don't have enough dictionaries and students are allowed to use them to assist on their STAAR exam. Also, I have some struggling left handed writers and thought these lefty items might encourage them to improve. The grammar t-shirt will hopefully assist my students in remembering a grammar item that they struggle with. Finally, I want to do a small-group novel study. I recently previewed this novel and believe that my students will really enjoy it. Having a novel that they want to read and don't want to put down will should be of assistance in motivating them to want to read!
