Full integration of technology in the preschool setting is of utmost importance. Children need access to technological tools to engage in educational activities such as attending read aloud, participating in virtual field trips where they will learn about farm animals, domesticated animals, and wild life. During these unprecedented time of Covid- 19 my students are in need of a MacBook pro to engage with developmentally appropriate activities to help foster their math, science, literacy, phonological awareness and social emotional skills. Furthermore, the MacBook pro will be used as a resource for rating and tracking my students’ progress in the areas of cognitive, emotional, social and physical development. With the collected data, I will be able to make the necessary interventions and differentiated teaching strategies needed to ensure the program's effectiveness and students’ success. Additionally, my students will use the MacBook pro to listen to a variety of Creative Curriculum eBooks. The eBook topics include the study of Music, Insects, Pets, Recycling and Building. These topics will heighten my student's awareness in important subjects such as, environmental awareness, the detriment of deforestation on our Earth, the importance of reducing the amount of landfills in our planet and much more. These eBooks will also help my students develop an interest in and fondness of reading.
