My students are autistic and learn in a different way. These hands on items will promote their literacy by providing them with hands on learning activities that they may be engaged in and have fun doing. My students love puzzles, games, and building. Please help them by providing a learning environment that where they can be engaged in their learning. A environment where they do not realize they are actually learning because they are having so much fun. These items will help with their phonemic awareness, vocabulary, reading, and math skills. We are so excited to have all these resources in our classroom.
