Our school is lucky to have iPads for every student. We use these iPads for a guided math and reading program that tracks their progress, provides student specific practice and lessons and reads instructions to them. They need to use headphones so that during our 15 minute iPad work time, I can work at the table providing small group lessons without the distraction of 15 iPads.
Some students were able to bring headphones, but broke within the first month of school because of their low quality. I want my students to have a class set of durable, good quality headphones so that I do not have to waste vital learning time trouble shooting with volume issues.
