The requested supplies will help my students in so many different ways. They will be able to have more hands-on activities to show them real world connections to science and math. By having these supplies in our classroom, we can connect science and math in so many different ways and give the students fun and creative ways to see the magic of education. Because our school is a low-income/high poverty district, we are limited on our resources. It would be very beneficial to our students to have these supplies and let them explore the world through experiments and projects, since most never get to take a vacation.
Please help us MOTIVATE and INSPIRE our students! All of the supplies listed are things that can be used in numerous projects in our math and science class. We would be able to use the microscope's to examine slides and other objects. The digital scales can be used in science projects as well as math lessons. And because robotics and coding have become so BIG in education, I did request a small robot. I think the students will love getting to see it in action and get to be a part of the tech world!
Help us grow our brains with all the great activities we can do in science and math class. Our science and math in 6th grade is taught by me, so it will be great to incorporate both subjects in so many different ways this year. And because both subjects are taught by one teacher, we get extended time, which also gives more class time for projects and activities. WOOHOO!
