Having a refrigerator in the classroom will allow us to do labs that require samples to be kept cool. There is currently no way to refrigerate samples in the school, so this would allow us to do those kinds of labs. Currently, I have to walk to the other end of the building in order to utilize a refrigerator, and this is not ideal or always even possible. Students can take ownership of every aspect of the lab by taking care of every detail. Making sure their samples are kept cold in the refrigerator at the appropriate temperature is one way that they can control the variables in their lab process and take responsibility.
