Having technology available daily will provide group activities researching colleges, developing personal resumes, researching fields of career interests, driving tests, developing reading skills, writing fluently, as well as college readiness skills, podcasts, group projects, and digital classroom activities and software, making them compete with their peers in a level playing field. The opportunities in the past to "borrow" Chromebooks was always dependent upon other classes. I had to work around 5 other classes and this often meant waiting a week or sometimes two weeks. Students will also be able to use this technology freely while in my class, before school and after school. The exposure to and use of technology will also build their learning confidence. Building their learning confidence also translates to a student who wants to learn despite their individual challenges.
