In August, I will begin teaching Kindergarten! This will be a time of firsts: my first time teaching and having my own classroom and my students' first time going to school. I am so excited to give many of my students their first school experience, but I need your help to create a fun, supportive, and secure learning environment for my students. With the appropriate supplies, including glue sticks, white board markers, crayons, and sticky notes, I can take the financial pressure off my students and their families and myself to provide school supplies for the classroom. All of these basic supplies will be used daily for students to complete work and engage with new content in meaningful ways. With some organizational supplies, including the schedule pocket chart, student work mailboxes, storage caddies, and file folders, I can maintain an organized, clean, and structured environment within which my students will learn. With your help, I create a learning environment that encourages learning and play, challenge and academic growth, fun and hard work. I want my students to feel supported and secure in their classroom environment so that they only have to worry about learning.
